Ah, the bloom of youth! Fresh faced, full of energy, and most importantly, the recipients of tons of attention from K and I.
Now let's take a peek at how they have fared since the blessed arrival of M and Z:
Hmmmm. Don't look for these two in future issues of Dog Fancy Magazine.
Before you contact PETA , I would like to point out that Lucie's haggard appearance is largely due to the onset of her seasonal shed AND she looks considerably better now than she did before I spent 20 minutes brushing her over the weekend.
As for Ed....well all I can say is black pugs don't age gracefully. He clearly needs to wash that grey right out of his hair. And sadly, he is losing his sight in one eye (hence the eye boogies).
Let this be a warning to those of you who have pets and are considering kids...or have kids and are considering a pet. My advice? Wait until your kids are old enough to help care for a pet...or at least old enough for you to nag about how they promised to help care for said pet but then mysteriously disappear when it comes time to feed, walk, brush, or clean up poop.
